Using the AI study tools

Each AI tool is tuned for a specific job. Picking the right one matters more than phrasing the perfect prompt.

Getting better answers

1. Name your level: 'explain for a first-year undergraduate' changes the output substantially.
2. Say what you already understand, so the explanation starts at the real gap.
3. Ask for a specific format — steps, a table, an analogy, bullet points.
4. Attempt the problem first, then paste your attempt and ask where it went wrong.

When an answer looks wrong

AI can produce confident errors, particularly with arithmetic, citations, statistics and very recent events. Verify anything you will be graded on against your course material. If the platform's answer conflicts with your textbook, trust the textbook.

Uploads and limits

Supported document types are listed on the upload screen. Very large files may need to be split by chapter. Daily usage limits depend on your plan; the limit and reset time are shown in your account area.
