Adding a friend
- Open Pulse and go to the directory.
- Choose Add friend and enter the other person's unique ID.
- Send the request. They must accept before either of you can message.
Your own unique ID is shown in the directory — share it rather than your email address.
Messages and attachments
Conversations are private to the two participants and access is enforced on the server. You can share images and files; attachments count against your plan's storage allowance and can be deleted at any time from the conversation.
Locking a chat
A conversation can be locked with a PIN so it cannot be opened without re-entering it. This is useful on shared devices. If you forget the PIN you can reset it from your account settings.
Removing or blocking
- Removing a friend clears the shared conversation for both people and requires a new request to reconnect.
- Blocking prevents any further contact or requests from that account.
- Report harassment or unsafe behaviour — reports are reviewed against our community guidelines.
