Resetting your password

1. On the sign-in page choose Forgot password.
2. Enter the email address on your account and submit.
3. Open the reset email and follow the link — it is single-use and expires after a short period.
4. Set a new password and sign in with it.

Choosing a password

• At least twelve characters. Length matters more than symbols.
• Never reuse a password from another site — credential stuffing is the most common way student accounts are lost.
• A password manager is the simplest way to keep this practical.

If the link does not work

Reset links expire and can only be used once; request a fresh one if it has been sitting in your inbox. Open the link in the same browser you requested it from, and if your mail client rewrites links, copy the address into the browser manually.

Accounts created with Google or Apple do not have a password to reset — sign in with that provider instead.
